Benefits of taking a break
I am back!! I have been on a month's break from my usual life of working, homemaking, blogging and so on but not from practicing yoga (I miraculously made time for asanas and pranayama). But it feels great to be back! So what did I do during my break? Well, it started with my first concert ever!! DJ - Snake in Yelahanka, Bangalore. My friends who joined me seemed to enjoy it, but I must say I am not a concert person. Sweaty people touching me from all sides and screaming on top of their voices with noise pollutionmore than 100 decibels is simply too much! I like my peace and quite. Anyway I am glad I didn't miss it. Secondly, I have been doing some serious gardening. I must admit there is something peaceful about planting new saplings, watering and taking care of them. It is like a meditation practice, I am completely immersed in the task at hand and are not really thinking about anything else. My favorite part of the break was my family trip to the United Kingd
